Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Shah is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty in Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Pain Management.

Dr. Shah received her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Topiwala National Medical College, University of Bombay, India. She held the position of House Officer at New Mulago Hospital in Kampala, Uganda and Medical Officer for the City Council of Nairobi, Kenya. Her internship was at the New York Infirmary with residencies including the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Bronx, NY; rotation at Sloan Kettering Hospital for Cancer Rehabilitation and Hospital of Special Surgery; and New York Hospital at Cornell University Medical College, NY.

Dr. Shah has served as Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and Cornell University Medical School. She has also served as Chairperson of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Tampa General Hospital and as Medical Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at various hospitals. She has extensive experience in the treatment of myofacial pain.
